Tuesday
The day had finally arrived where we were to met up with Ann, The day before Ann had been trying hard to contact me but I had told everyone at home that if Ann did ring Not to give away our secret and to tell her I’m at work our something Which my hubby had done, he told Ann that I had taken one of the children for a job interview And then Grahame rang me quickly to tell me what he done incase Ann had gotten through to me...lol... When Ann finally got through to me on my mobile I was driving home and all of us in the van were laughing and talking I had to pull over and once I said "Hello Ann: you could hear A pin drop in the van everyone stopped talking...lol...it was so funny.
We were both excited about the next day and I told Ann that we couldn't wait and would be there in the morning It was so lovely to hear her voice Ann sounded so sweet over the phone and I think she was very happy to Have finally gotten hold of me.
This morning started very early 6am start and we had to go to my place to pick Amanda and Stephanie up at 7am they were both waiting out the front for us Then we started out journey and made our way back to Sydney I couldn't get Grahame's GPS going I need some more lessons in that so I thought we would wing it and if we got lost I’d just pull over and look at the map I had in the glove box Which my friend Boots helped me map out over the phone one night...lol... Anyway we made it to Sydney and to the city and we had some help with Amanda's GPS she has on her phone It told us we were in Sussex Street were we needed to be so I grabbed the first parking station I saw It worked out it was 3 blocks from the hotel Little did we know we should have gone around the block and down a little bit and parked in the parking station across the road from the hotel.
Christina messaged us and said she was at the IMAX theatre, so I left everyone waiting on This corner and my daughter Stephanie and I walked down to meet her I recognised Christina as soon as I saw her. I told her where I left everyone and we started walking back a different way As we walked up these stairs I wondered where we were going Then I saw what was in front of me, I thought to myself oh my god I can't walk across that. I baulked I just stood there telling Christina I couldn't walk across this footbridge to get to the other side. How embarrassing this was I just met this wonderful person and I was embarrassing myself by my fright of heights. I got on the phone to Cattic and told her to get everyone to make there way down to the next corner. My daughter Stephanie linked her arm with mine and I told myself I could do this I also told Christina if I stopped to grab my arm and pull me across the bridge. Well I made it across and by then the others were there to met Christina. We slowly made our way to Ann's hotel Amanda, Stephanie and I walking in front of the others As soon as I came around the corner to the hotel Ann was there and saw me and met me at the front door, Ken her hubby was filming everything with his video camera. After giving Ann the biggest hug I introduced her to my daughters and by then everyone else was walking up the path to the hotel, I told Ann what I had organised and introduced her to everyone else. We all had a lovely day together, plenty of laughter, photo's and a few tears when we were leaving. Ann's husband couldn't thank us enough for doing what we did he said we made Ann's day, he calls us Garden Keepers, Green Keepers...lol...and was so pleased that we all wanted To get together to met them both.
I'd like to say a special Thank You to my dear friend Boots Boots is an internet friend of mine Boots lives in Sydney and came and joined us and Without Boots help I wouldn't have found my way out of Sydney.
This is us having a long lunch and getting to know each other

On the way home it was getting pretty late And time for dinner, Along the Sydney to Newcastle freeway there are what everyone calls Twin Garages (Petrol Stations), there is one on each side of the freeway one for the north bound travellers and one for the south bound travellers They are like a little town only shops instead of houses...lol...Anyway one of the shops is a McDonalds so we decided To stop and have our dinner, While there Christina messaged us to say she had arrived home alright Which was good because she had to catch the train and travel out from Sydney when we left I messaged her back saying we were only half way home, i knew she would make it home before us. While having our dinner Stephanie couldn't help herself and she decided to go play on the kids playground equipment Here are the photo's of her having fun.
